B. 1953, Orange, NJ.

1998 - Organized, collected and curated photography taken with disposable cameras by homeless people and other fringe dwellers, such as prostitutes and drug dealers over a two year period. The project culminated in a month long show of 40 photographs at the Lindsay Gallery in Columbus, Ohio called “The Outside Eye”.

1996 - Began an intensely creative and productive course of projects & studies under the close guidance of American photographer James Freidman, who was personal assistant to Imogene Cunningham and graduate student of Minor White at MIT.

1995 - Began developing artwork under the influence of Stanley Twardowicz and James Friedman. Became close friends with abstract expressionist and cedar bar habitue’ Stanley Twardowicz through his first-hand knowledge of the habits & values of such artists as Jackson Pollock, Roy Lichtenstein, Jack Keroauc and Willim DeKooning.

1990 - Began developing interest in the Contemporary Art Scene.

1981 - Became heavily involved in Ohio Outsider Art Scene, promoting, organizing and curating art works of such artists as Smokey Brown, William Hawkins and Elijah Pierce. Did National Photography shows exhibiting and selling 19th and early 20th century photography in such cities such as Chicago, Washington, NYC and Philadelphia.

1980 -  Graduated Magna Cum Laude at Eastern Washington University with a  BA in Anthropology. Accepted into the Graduate Program of  Medical Anthropology, Ohio State University.

1978  - Honorable discharge – Became full-time student at Eastern Washington University in Spokane, Washington. Became Assistant Curator at the Museum of Native American Culture, Spokane, WA. Also did primary research on Indian Reservations in the Pacific Northwest studying non-western Medical Systems.

1974 -  Began life long career buying and selling Fine Art & Photography. Enlisted USAF and began night school with a focus on Art & Anthropology.

1973 -  Studied Commercial Art Ducret School of Art, Plainfield, NJ – Quickly lost interest with the structure and rigidity of Academic Art.
